The basic generic watch order is indeed Zero to UBW and then to Heavens Feel movies trilogy, the other option is to start with UBW, but maybe you actually would prefer lesbian lolis kissing first idk XD
Hey Crow, if you really are interested in the series and want to watch more.
The most go with:
Fate/Zero then Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works and after that the 3 Fate/ stay night Heaven's Feel movies.
After that there are of course other media all over but this would the most popular way to go.
Hope somebody agrees with this because the Fate franchise is way too big for everyone to please. 😅
Man hearing you talk about the important plot points and twists of F/SN is killing me 😂😂😂. That is the main reason why I always tell people to start on 2006 instead of zero.
Well if you want just the basic story:
1. Fate/Zero
2. Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Budget Works
3. Fate/Heaven's Feel
Other than those – Fate/Apocrypha is actually kinda good even if it feels like the creator took the premise and names and created new series
And yes i know F/Z spoils F/ST but its not spoiling to the point where it ruins the series
Since you started with Fate Zero you should go with the chronological order, which is:
Fate Zero -> (Deen adaptation of Fate/ Stay Night) -> Fate/ Stay Night UBW by Ufotable -> Fate/ Stay Night Heavens Feel triology by Ufotable.
I also started with Zero, then watched the Ufotable dapatation of UBW, then decided to read the Stay Night VN and I can say that the VN is the best way to get into Fate, but if you wanna watch the anime, the order above should do it as well.
just watch fate/stay night ubw first and then heavens feel movie trilogy and those movies isn't a remake its different route so watch both and those movies are so good

For example, when we are talking about WW2, sometimes we gonna talk about WW1 or the Cold War or even the possibility of having WW3, so something like that. There are a lot of writers so they just think (un)logically about how to connect to the main timeline. Remember all of Fate is canon and not canon, including every Fate fan fiction/doujin
There are 2 fate stay night UBW. Make sure to watch the one Ufotable made.
If you confuse "Don't worry about it"
tbh, the easiest order to watch is fate zero, and then unlimited blade works. That's it.
After that you can watch heaven's feel movies
