Thanks for putting this information out there. Recently there’s been a movement of people trying to say that Egyptians were sub Saharan Africans. Although there were some sub Saharan Africans in Egypt and the kushites were sub Saharan Africans, that doesn’t mean they made up the majority of the population. Egypt traded with the Greeks, Croatians, and other people, so there were some white people there, but a majority of the population had tan skin. Saying that Egyptians were black because they’re in Africa is like saying Saudi Arabians are Asian because they’re in Asia.

As an Egyptian I really don't understand the mindset of these people. Rewriting our history and calling us racist for calling them out is just extremely idiotic. On top that , their only "proof" about Cleopatra being black is a grandma feeding her granddaughter a big lump of BS. The British actress' mindset also just makes my blood boil.
