i have to catch up with this show, i'm a few behind. i watched the original series fairly recently, i like what they are doing with this show. going to catch up on this and your other reviews once i am up to date.
i feel we wont get a season 2 , its all seemingly building up to a grand finale. tho part of me kinda wishes this had more episodes i still love the show!
Rem was the last straw that broke Vash and now Nai is closer to achieving his goal.

Loving the show so far. The visual, music, story it hits really well. Will need to binge it once it ends and do hope we get more after this season.
Knives is breaking him down and he is speaking some truth and some lies. A big gaslighter. It shows how traumatized a Vash is. And this event will definitely give him a huge bounty. When the evil twin manipulates the good one. If we were to forget humanity and just focus on the Plants, Knives is right although I’m curious how much he cares about the Plants or if he’s not as kind to them as we think. Plants have such long lifespans as we can see that he will lose people as he ages. Although I don’t know how long Plants live or if they ever grow old. Seeing the organs from Plants experimented on be treated as alive since they can still fulfill their role is terrifying and definitely shows their distrust. Interesting how it’s truly Vash and not Knives who could open the interdimensional portal which likely is also due to how human and empathetic Vash is to Plants, humans and other life maybe
The scene with the tubes was chilling and was mind boggling
I hope there is a season two after this. I feel like there still so much to see. I can’t wait for episode 12.
think of the matrix. humans being used for energy. Nobody knew anything until the blue/red pill scene. I woud be mad after that.
This anime is pure Machiavellian – "might make right "and "the ends justify the means".
My take on Trigun Stampede is if this is what what every CGI anime looked like, outside of the purists and trolls nobody would ever complain about it, because this series has been nothing short of stunning.
What has really surprised me is how the audience has come around toward accepting it as the season is coming to a close. At the beginning of the season it was ripped for just about everything, from being CGI to not being true to the manga (forgetting that apparently the highly-praised original anime also wasn't true to the manga, either). But what I really appreciated is the producers stayed true to their own vision and have created something amazing, even if it is different than what people initially wanted.
I think this series had done a very good job of explaining why a person might do some pretty horrible things. It doesn’t mean you have to agree with the choices, but you can sit back and say that you can understand how they got to that point.
Really liking what they did here. What I also like is that Nai is a lot more complex than he was in the original series. While he uses a lot of "god-talk" he doesn't really act like he's got a god complex. While he doesn't care about humans, and he did originally try to get rid of them all, humans are never really his goal. His goal is his own people and helping them and you really understand that. In fact honestly I side with his plight more than Vash's since Vash never actually comes up with anything other than simply letting things stay as they are and hoping that things get better. And yet he never can bring himself to fight for things TO get better. He never fights to protect plants, only to help them after humans have abused them. Even his line about "Well humans abuse the Plants because we crashed thim on this planet" is stupid. They humans were abusing Plants long before that, and them crashing over a century ago, doesn't excuse there actions. Just once I'd really like to see Vash say something about helping the plants instead of constantly drowning in his own pity party and constantly taking the human's side. I'm almost as frustrated with him as Knives was.
I actually liked the line they gave of it being between the love of humanity vs the love of a little brother. How Vash so much wants to be human that he's trained his entire body to be like that of a human. To get hurt like a human. To eat and drink like a human. When Nai drops him into the water, Vash flounders as if he's trying to breath, but Nai is fine because he knows his body can breathe in water. It takes Vash a while to realize he can do the exact same thing.
It actually kind of hurts to have two brothers but one practically ashamed of what he is, and other other is revelling in it.
Animation this episode was insane. A ton of cool visuals and great music in this episode . I also felt like this episode did a great job of fleshing out Nai and why he behaves the way he does.

Okay, my predictions for episode 12 ( which probably will be entirely wrong):
1) Julai City will be destroyed, with most of the damage being to buildings, but a number of people and Plants will be gone afterwards.
2) Vash will be blamed for Julai's destruction.
3) Meryl will abandon Vash.
4) Wolfwood will rejoin Vash. "Come on, needle noggin, no time to give up."
Wasn't a fan of the changes from the old anime but I definitely think the manga reason for knives to turn vengeful is by far superiour
