Well Ketil isn't really that guy, since he lied about the "Iron Fist" thing but damn… Was this episode hard to watch…

For those who are interested in reading along with the manga, this episode adapted the entirety of chapters 66 to 67.
In regards to the passage of time (the manga is more explicit about the dates) during this episode it’s supposed to be November 1015, so about a month has passed since the previous episode.
The other reason Snake was insistent on the children receiving a form of punishment was for them to avoid having the stigma “unpunished thief” permanently attached to them. The series does a good job of depicting how the harsh social mores and norms of the time existed and why they existed (that even despite the harshness they also weren’t completely arbitrary in their existence).
When I was watching this and heard the words, "20 lashes" that brought back some bad memories XD
