Oshi No Ko is going to be the type of series that has schizo defenders and haters when the ending comes
Fun to series to argue about at the very least
Journal with a Witch is one of the best anime of the decade, so glad yall are talking about it
Vigilantes is technically a prequel to MHA so that's the only reason
I implore anyone who loved Journal with a Witch to read the manga. Anime had an original ending but there is tons of material that the anime didn't cover and it gets even better.
27:02 – For some reason the auto generated subtitles turned the words "cooking with emiya" into "Carnival Phantasm", although funnily the statement is pretty much accurate both ways.
37:17 – This was never actually mentioned in the anime, so its not surprising you didn't know about it (I didnt either until it became directly relevant in this show lol)
39:40 – There are basically 2 types of pantheons in the setting—those that are just aliens, such as the Mesoamerican gods (space bacteria that arrived on the yucatan asteroid) and the Greek gods (seeds of life from Eva except they're mecha); and then those that are manifestations of the earth's local nature and concepts such as the Mesopotamian gods.
i watched JJK s1 like 4 years ago, just to be able talk shit about it, and i struggled a lot to finish it. Then season 2 started i didn't try it. And then that godamn kill bill episode came out and i had to watch it all. I liked s2, it was ok, and season 3 is really good, for exactly what was said. midjutsu kaisen isn't mid anymore….
1:11:55 I had the exact same connexion with the soundtrack and had the feeling to watch a Naoko Yamada show, thanks tu the overall direction and to Kensuke Ushio. One of the many reasons that make Journal with witch already the AOTY to me, though i know Naoko Yamada has her own show this summer.
"This is the best anime season yet!"
"Weeb Crew Podcast, this is the 7th time you've shown the best anime season in class!"
1:32:00 thought journal with witch would take the woke title, theres a black supporting character, gay girl, that one scene talking about toxic masculinity, and most woke of all, neurodivergent woman that doesnt wanna have kids
Yes
