Kanata, Beckenbauer, and Nozomi overtakes – MF Ghost Season 3 (ep11) Turn 35

I love how beckenbauer sees exactly that kanata can be helpfull to both himself and kanata due to their skills and acknowledge

STRONGEST TRAIN INDEED!

While the track "Run Run Babe" is reused (from the last point in the previous Peninsula Manazuru race even), I particularly love how it's used here in Oishi's moment of getting bullied.

0:02 – A mutual understanding between Kanata and Beckenbauer is formed as the instrumental fades in
0:18 – Oishi's face twist in terror as BOSS MUSIC creeps in saying "Run, Run, Baby!"
0:35 – Starting the euroBEAT with Kanata's corner attack
1:00 – "CRAZY~ FEELING~" as Oishi contemplates how screwed he is getting pinned by the two driving monsters
1:07 – Nozomi squeezes in as the build up to the chorus takes place, "ARE! YOU! READY!"
1:11 – Nozomi and Oishi intensely duking it out during the song's chorus
1:50 – As the 2nd verse starts, Oishi took a unexpected bump, finally losing his position to Nozomi

As epic as the impromptu team up of Beckenbauer and Kanata is, I am fanatically invested on Nozomi taking notice of it AND taking advantage of it, proving that she's capable on her own on top of her coordination experience and skills that enables her to join the high-level teamwork.

There's just something about the development of a potent side character taking place in a situation that's supposedly mainly about the MC and top dogs that delights me all the more. (Partly because she's a female racer too, just thought to add that)

I really felt bad for Oishi (car no.3)
