I just finished watching this anime like yesterday and now I’m seeing this cute amv ahh the song just fits so perfectly!
Hananoi & Hotaru’s Relationship:
Hotaru didn't pay much attention to Saki until she saw him break up with a girl in a cafe. Hotaru then saw Saki sitting on a bench whilst it was snowing so she sheltered him with her umbrella. The next day at school Saki came into Hotaru's class and asked her out as he saw her act of kindness as his soulmate. Hotaru declined as she didn't understand love or romance, but this didn't stop Saki who continued to help her around school and even changed his appearance to suit her preferences. Saki also ate lunch with her and gave her a Pork Meat Bun and they shared it. When Saki loaned her Hairpins to a friend the girl lost one whilst doing PE Saki offered to help her find it, Hotaru told him that it was snowing and they should head home, Sadly Saki didn't listen and stayed at the school in the freezing snow searching for the Hairpin, Saki phoned Hotaru asking what her pin looked like, Hotaru then realized that Saki was still at school, so she headed over. Hotaru found Saki in the snow freezing still looking for her Hairpin, Saki told him to stop, Saki told her that he was fine, Hotaru told him that he could die if he continues, Saki told her that this was nothing and her happiness was more important, Hotaru hugged him but then told him that her happiness isn't the only thing that he should cherish and that if he only prioritized her happiness then she doesn't want to fall in love ever. Hotaru then took Saki into the school and a Teacher put a heater on and gave Saki a blanket.
