These animations never truly get old wich says something about their quality.

Okay, to explain why there'll sadly never be a rerun of the Eva collab, Mihoyo had to agree to a one-time limited license. I don't know if maybe if players petitioned NGE 's owning company if they would bring it back, but since they haven't at this point, I doubt it. Which is unfortunate for all us players who started after the collab ended: They didn't just have Asuka, they also had costumes. And apparently they did a really good job of duplicating the story within the game, with Mei playing Shinji's role and Bronya as Rei. Naturally Himeko was Misato.
