The thing that really make the ability impressive is that the buffs aren't a fixed number but are actually percentage based, for example if someone eats a strength boosting food and they have 10 in strength and the buff gives a 50%buff there strength is now 15 which is nice but nothing too crazy, but someone with substantially more stats whose stats are in the thousands, say 2000 strength with the same buff it becomes 3000 which is quite a substantial boost, and remember different foods can cause different buffs so imagine to amount of buffs someone who can eat a full buffet of otherworldly foods would get.
