Mahiru Shiina was really bold in this episode, and her boldness will grow even stronger. And she has revealed her past to Amane-kun. Now it's time for him to reveal his past as well.
Amane being super cool without realising it, Mahiru's direct-yet-indirect love and to top it all of "Ai uta" as an ending. That is why this is one out of 2 my favorite episodes from this anime (The other episode is the 12th episode).
(Original ending's title is "Chiisana Koi no Uta" and for episode 7 they used "Ai uta", they both are great songs and lyrics are just the best.
Also, openings title is "Gift")
Ahh this episode had me teary eyed the whole time since that hug scene I love this episode so much seeing amane being so comforting and telling her what she needed and deserved to hear
Told ya that you might need tissues for this episode. Also, the aftermath of Mahiru's mother telling her that she was an "unwanted child" was also the time when Amane first encountered her in the playground back in EP1.
Mahirus story breaks my heart every time i hear it. She does not deserve to be treated like that 😢.
