  1. Such a touching film. Mixture of sadness and joy for how she finally starting living and finding human connection. Beautifully done e

  2. The man on the phone was an extraordinary actor. Unbelievably natural. I would have thought it was a real call, if I hadn't known it was a film.

  3. This short film left more of an impression on me than most feature length films. It's amazing that a good script and great actors can make a phone call so compelling.

  4. That was so amazing. Really. Felt really horrible that John couldn't be saved. But it gave such a huge impact and perspective – to have lived through love. To have found someone so amazing. And living through all kinds of times together.

  5. Gorgeous, from start to finish. Bravo Mat Kirkby and James Lucas for writing a profoundly rich treatise on the transient nature of the human experience.

  6. A very touching exchange between these two characters. The one thing I take issue with is the end, when John's wife comes through the door. I sincerely hope people don't take their own lives in the hope of seeing a loved one. This is pure fantasy.
