I really wish they didn’t rush Adam’s boss fights
since i love nier automata from all my heart. i do love the anime but i must say that most philosophy that should have been there isnt because it was rushed to the end of the machine brothers.
I wished adam would had been the one who scream:
– to me my brother was everything…… and now everything must die….!!!
– Why did u kill my brother !!!! I…I..huuh…"bug"
there a lot of thing that should be better i realy feel like its was wasted. not bad but wasted.
even more since it was adam that should have died first and since here they were gonna change it i was like " so much can be done, even if eve died instead of adam it might be better" but now i feel realy like something was missing.
Amazing both are exactly the same.
Really wish the animation quality held up to the game.

Could someone explain why the final fight was adam and not eve for the anime I'm a bit out of the loop here

So, since they made adam the final battle instead of eve, you think maybe theyll do something similar in season 2? Maybe 2b will be the one going after A2 after 9s dies instead of the other way around. Itd be weird but yoko taros a madlad storyteller and im confident he could make it work. Imagine A2 learning everything 9s learned when he hacked into the yorha servers.
Also is it just me or does 9s hate the machines more here then he did in the game? I dont remember him saying he was going to destroy every last machine until (a certain thing happens) but here he says it right at the start.
Nier the anime is surprisingly good, unfortunately even tho they set up for the perfect final season we unfortunately might not get it

原作じゃ好奇心の赴くままに動いて自分の死すらも満足気だったアダムが、イヴが死んであれだけ興味津々だった人類やアンドロイドもどうでもよくなって、弟を失った悲しみで原作のイヴ同様こんな世界消えてしまえってなるの性格違ってもやっぱり兄弟なのを感じる
The game was actually better for the ending
But in the anime it was way too soon
The anime is pretty good but they really change a lot and cut and even didn’t put the part its really sad a little
I think it was a nice dramatic touch that the anime version didn't remove 2B's blindfold/visor until she started choking 9S. The fact that he slashed it off with his corrupted arm reminds us how dangerous he'll be if the virus isn't nipped in the bud and it makes the moment all the more intimate and tragic by revealing the sorrowful look in her eyes right at that moment.

9s knew that his consciousness was copied into other machines before this happened.
In other words, he did all that corruption scene just to make out with 2B!
“Oh no 2B I’ve been corrupted! Quick strangle me with your thighs!”

“Oh look ima robot now lol”
I know the anime is supposed to be different from the game, but if 9S doesn't fight A2 I will be disappointed
