Nine wasn't a villain! This time, it really was Sonic's fault. And this wasn't a betrayal! Nine never said he wants to help Sonic! He never lied to him! Quite the opposite, he actually tried telling him what he wanted! But Sonic didnt listen, not because he is a bad guy, but because thats how he is. Nine never betrayed Sonic because he never said he wanted the same. He was afraid of what will happen to him, he was afraid he will never see Sonic again, his only friend, and most importantly, he wanted to escape from that miserable life and make a new one with Sonic, how he wanted. This cant be called a betrayal and Nine was never the bad guy!
I don't quite understand the people who write: No, stupid nine, how could he!? Traitor! But in fact, he did not completely betray him He didn't do it to Sonic's detriment. And he still considers him his friend. Yes, Shadow was right. But do you think he would trust someone? Especially from another world. Nine just wants to build a new home and for drastic reasons, not destroy all worlds This is purely my opinion

For me Nine wouldn't have to steal the fragments to build a new world in the Grim because that way Green Hill could also collapse and you don't have to sacrifice one world to build another. On the other hand it is also Sonic's fault since he thought that Nine would also want to rebuild Green Hill and that he could be trusted but Sonic, in my opinion, also thought that yes, Shadow warned him about Nine and Shadow was right but Sonic, at least in my opinion, knew that neither he nor Shadow could put together the Paradox Prism because he needed one like Nine who knew Nine, however, does not have the same goal as Shadow and Sonic. So for me Nine is not a traitor he is mostly an egoist who really disappointed me. I will always be on the side of Shadow and Sonic. Clearly everyone has their own opinion and I accept both those that coincide with mine and those that do not coincide👍🏻😊
