  1. I was recently at summer camp with two of my friends and the floor was carpeted so I made them take off their shoes when they entered. I did it so much that one day they got sick of it and just started going to breakfast and the other rooms in their slippers 😂

  2. She would have came back another day when she could take her shoes off (disrespectful ) and respected the home the same day however in this case she won set your boundaries sis and stick by them 🎤

  3. As someone that doesnt like to wear shoes at home so im either barefoot or have socks on I wish i could make everyone take their shoes off when coming into our house. Also its kind of silly that she would come to visit while its snowing and expect you to be okay with her walking about your NEW house?

  4. I’m sorry but wtf is a hijabi doing wearing a skirt and boots we have to wear trousers/dress/skirt to the feet she’s reading the men’s sunnah 😂 men should wear shorts that come to the knees nothing about girls and knees

  5. People creating problems that are all in their minds. Applying to rules or not will not make you a better person, just a more judgmental one.

  6. I would have restricted her to the downstairs area or offered her a change of clothes and some fresh socks to wear in the house.

  7. I would've asked her to leave and wear something appropriate. Ain't no way I'm letting those dirty boots mess up the carpeting 😂

  8. I always wear shoes inside because it’s a sensory problem for me. I hate the feeling of stuff on my feet or not wearing shoes so I just always have them on.

  9. im from poland and there it's also common to take shoes off in the house, i think it should be normal all around the world, my grandma also has slippers of every kind and size so everyone gets assigned their holiday pair of slippers while they stay over

  10. Mom and i never allowed shoes in the house. It nasty. I dont want all the dirt and germs and yuck tracked all over my house!

  11. i would’ve given her something else to wear. humans are a lot like monkeys, once you let one do something they’ll all do it smh

  12. I'm that kind of person where my rules are my rules. I don't go to your house and do whatever I want so I don't expect you to come to my house And do whatever you want also.💯💯💯💯

  13. Okay I do wear my flip flops around the house that also go outside (plus I live with a lot of animals) so I'm not usually worried about germs. BUT you shouldn't wear snowy shoes inside – I've slipped so many times from the water of the melted snow

What's more though, follow the rules of the house. If you know your host asks for no shoes inside, plan accordingly

(Side note, would wearing long socks count for hijab, or is it not modest because you can still easily see the contour of the calf??)
