Just got back into Ape Escape, so I recognized the music pretty easily in this video.
They could not have chosen a better character for such a roll than Bubble Bass.

They went for an arm jab with the critic joke.
They went for the throat with the otaku assault.
I loved uncle grandpa and I absolutely hate this show, I've only watched 1 episode and it was enough. It's literally like Uncle Grandpa, but it paracitises on spongebob universe… Like a neverending crossover that was never meant to happen…
The patrick star show is so low brow it's referencing mister neter

I saw a clip of the episode where they mention pizza bagels which is 100% a ference to Red Letter Media's Mr. Plinkett character who is obsessed with pizza rolls.

The show is in a downwards spiral anyways… and to think the first season was actually entertaining
But it's hidden gems like this, that sprinkle goodness into the ocean of mediocrity the series has become (kinda like one of those quality-tinted segments from the seventh season)

This is basically a better version of Teen Titans Go episode. I don't mind episodes like this but it can eadily turn into whining thst certain people don't like your show. This wasn't that.

If the patrick star show was actually good I wouldve found it funny. But its not. Its nothing more than a lazy cash grab trying to squeeze every last drop of milk out of the spongebob cash cow against Hillenburgs wishes.

I know I should be holding back on this…but…the way Bubble Bass acts in this show is how many people think the Nostalgia Critic is in reality, on and off camera…they really do, despite the fact he really isn't, even on camera…and these same people think that I am a monster for not only watching the Nostalgia Critic but also enjoying his stuff, and demand that I deactivate my account on the threat of death!

What I can pick up from this is that it’s The Googly Artiste (from Season 8 of SpongeBob) done right.
3:38 i dunno if this comparison is fair, Uncle Grandpa's humor might be surreal but at least the pacing of the show was slow and watchable. The Patrick Star show is way too fast paced
