I really love the direction this show seems to be going!! I think Sonic and Shadow’s different views will definitely create tension, especially if it is true that restoring the prism will make Nine, Thorn Rose, Dread, and all the others cease to exist.
On Metal Sonic, I’d guess the Chaos Council took the data they collected from Sonic in episode 2 and made the alt Metal Sonic.

I'm already excited for Season 3/Part 3 😀 But I think this Metal Sonic was created by Nine since I doubt they would have "playful" personality as briefly seen in the trailer. Unless Chaos Council "messed up" and wanted to have even Sonic's personality inside Metal.
