Should have kept the face. It wasn't goofy, it was realistic and had depth to it. What's goofy looking is the fact that he took 100 punches to the face and magically recovers, looking like a model. Anyone who's taken a punch to the face knows how much swelling there is, let alone 100 consecutive punches from a tall, muscular viking who was said to knock out a bear.
Man i legit had tears in my eyes while giggling when Olmar said that he wants to grow up just like Thorfinn to his goofy face. It was such a wholesome moment in the manga. Here they made everything serious. They also removed the adorable blushing part. Great episode nonetheless. Something different.
