I think the media is assuming that Steele is actually made of steel and won't need a full year to recover and then an additional required 4-5 weeks to get into football shape.
Quite frankly when Steele returns the fastest way to get him on the field would be guard.
I like that they're doing this but something nobody is talking about is that they do have to be prepared for when Tyron goes down.

Wrong, he never played guard! He can adjust on the fly at tackle because his experience, no alot of stress and while still recovering
I couldn’t agree more with you about Tyron at LT, and Tyler at LG. It makes complete sense.
Not sure about the shuffling on the OL, pretty sure the starters will be as you said (depending on Steele), all in all though, when you look at Dallas' starting 22, they are stacked pretty high On paper this team matches or betters the 31 other teams in the League. There is no reason ( other than typical self destruction) that the Cowboys should push it all the way to the top. Anything other than a trip to the championship game, would mean another. "wait till next year" feeling. Don't think Big Mike will be leading the troops if that happens.
This is the most interesting season in a while. We have a competitive schedule. We have the makings of a competitive roster. The coaching philosophy appears to acknowledge that winning football is a bit more than trying to score a lot of points.
100% Fish. I love Zeke. Straight up tuff mo fo ! But it's over And i'm glad he made all of his money he deserved it. But please we have to move on. Our running game needs to be on point. We are not going to win a Super Bowl on Daks arm. Have you seen the AFC Lately ? I don't think any one from. The NFC is going to win a super bowl for quite some time.
I'll reserve my "respect" for when Zeke is back. Respect is "earned" and as of late, our Cowboys have not been respectable.
