  1. That acuna superfractor seems a bit light at 33k…..I'da thought somewhere in the 60-70k range…. maybe after this MVP season coming perhaps…

  2. Sad story time!! As a kid I had all those 72’ basketball cards. Not being a huge B-ball fan as a teen, I gave them all away! Although I still have the football set in high grade, Boy that B-ball sets worth a lot of coin!…Artis Gilmore $28g’s?
P.S-Thanks for showing the Bobby Orr card, Ghe most miraculous player I’ve ever seen across all sports- A guy who could do the impossible in his sport. BUT he knew the danger and only played really 8 years of a 10 year career. Very sad.

  3. I remember buying as a 12 year old kid a 62’ Topps box for $1.20 plus tax in 1962..those were the days!! It was in late August so more than likely a 7th series box!!…Great video Chris!!

  4. Iim all for the rare Rookie cards being pricey, but not interested in the ‘97 Griffey or Rice cards. Produced years after their RC’s just to make it exclusive enough to suck you in.

  5. Really liked this format of High Rollers!!! The Joe D. Was CHEAP!! Hope you get your Cal Ripken Card Soon, Chris!!!! Wish You The Best Of Luck On The Hunt!!!

  6. I enjoyed it but as a collector and seller, I really like your average current values around $50-$100 range videos. I see so many of the same cards appearing but that Mantle card, that’s crazy lol

  7. One of my favorite high rollers. Much more vintage goodness and less of the prospecting and RPA 1/1s than normally make the list.

  8. Why is an Authentic 1958 Topps card #418 WS Batting Foes that has Mantle and Aaron signatures worth $30,600? That is one I just don't get. The card has been Altered, trimmed most likely, so for just a Mantle & Aaron autograph they are worth $30K together on a trimmed card? What is your thinking on this going for such a high value?

  9. LOL, I wondered whatever happened to "Santa Mantle." That card made headlines a few years back when it changed hands the last time. I actually lived just north of Charlotte, NC in 1980. Unfortunately I was only 3 years old.
