The Dallas Cowboys assistant director of college scouting Chris Vaughn was given an opportunity to draft son Kansas State star RB Deuce Vaughn.
Jerry Joins told Chris Vaughn to make the call to tell his son that the Cowboys were drafting him in the 6th round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Cowboys assistant director of college scouting Chris Vaughn said “Best phone call I’ve ever made.”
Deuce Vaughn at AT&T Stadium while playing for Kansas State in the Big 12 Championship Game win rushed for 130 yards and 2 receptions for 30 yards while scoring 1 TD.
Vaughn’s 5-foot-5 frame might be used as a punt and kick returner for the cowboys. He rushed for 1,558 yards, had 42 receptions for 378 yards. He scored 12 total touchdowns in 2022. He scored 22 total touchdowns in 2021.
He will help in part at replacing Ezekiel Elliott compliment Tony Pollard. special teams will be where he will do most of the damage alongside former TCU ace KaVontae Turpin.
He's going to be slippery, hard to see dude on the field at his size…we may be seeing a revolution with this type of back.

Watching the Darren Sproles career touchdown video. It’s 16 minutes long!!!!! He might have doubt but I have none. He will have a spectacular career as a backup running back and a 3rd down specialist. Either in Dallas or somewhere else.

for those who think 6th round is not that great. Getting picked in the 6th round means you were drafted by an nfl team. He is one of the elite to come out of college this year while thousands of players sit after their college ball days. He is a 1%'er. Let's go!
