  1. Poor Arnheid indeed ans now we know how Ketil married his wife…his love was killed and seems like it was just a marriage of convenience then love!

  2. Maybe Ketil will be happy with Arnhieds child…his 1st is a violent brute and his and is a loudmouth wimp who can't use a sword at all!

  3. She had seen his violent side, they were shown in ep 1 during the intro with the old norse language. But yeah, she had never seen him so lost and going mad like that 🥲

  4. Definitely an emotional episode, and I loved your guys' discussion after it. It was very thoughtful and you guys brought up a lot of hard but important things to think about regarding how the world has evolved and is still in many ways the same. It's terrible how things were back then especially for women and children, and the saddest part is that there are still many places around the world where everyday feels unsafe for the average person. I feel so bad for Arnheid and wish the best for her, and also Einar truly is a real one for willing to put his life on the line without hesitation to help Arnheid and her husband. Great episode and great video!

  5. I dont know if u guys knew, but Sverkel's flashback was entirely anime original. Really good regardless.

Also, they didn't sell Arnheid's baby, they killed him. Babies don't sell well on slave markets, and it's likely they don't even survive the trip. They killed it either by throwing it to the water or more brutal means.

  6. The realization that it's NOT okay to own another human person is what's very important for humanity, as a society and as person, and not necessarily something that comes "naturally", as you guys were talking about. What comes natural is just ones own survival, in that aspect it makes perfect sense to have slaves to facilitate said survival. Our having (mostly) grown beyond that is what's great. In my own humble opinion of course.
