Never realized Knafe is filo dough. Thanx for that.
Hi mimo I have a question about a Arabic / Islamic dessert was wondering if u know the name of it I think it had like rice and a honey glaze on top with a nut was wondering if u ever had these before? I remember they were so good I went to Arabic / islamic restaurant / grocery store, just can't recall that dessert name 💕 btw this looks sooooo goooood 😍😍 have a good rest of ur day mimo 🙂 hehe
Yummy, going to try it ❤
my family just uses mozzerella and farmers cheese, and put saffron oil on the fillo and rose or this other flower i forget it’s name water with the syrup soooo good
This is exactly how my mom makes kanafeh and it’s ALWAYS a KILLER
I would make this… But I can't eat dairy 🤦🏻♀️
Even though I can't eat cheese this looks amazing!!!❤ Happy anniversary!
that looks so yummy
I cannot get enough of this stuff it’s so good
Wow this looks so good! For us who've never tried it, what does it taste like? Or what could you compare it to? 🤔
Yayyy I love all the other content we’re getting
❤❤❤❤🤤
This actually looks amazing, how have I never heard of it before!? Thank you for the recipe!
I had this last year. And lord this was so delicious ❤
Need this without the rose syrup 😂
I remember watching my sister in law make filo pastry. She was a wizard at it.
You should make like a cake version of this idk how I’ve never bm had this but it would be cool to see
Beautiful, yum!
Mimo, so I was wondering because of this video, and your sister’s wedding cake video the other day, unless I’m fully misunderstanding something about the calendar you and your sister both got married and/or were on your honeymoons during Ramadan?
What are the advantages of getting married at that time as opposed to another time (that I am perceiving would be easier or a less demanding time)?
I’ve watched so much Great British Bake Off that I fully forgot this is how we pronounce “filo” in the states. 😂
Ma sha Allah, it's the first time I've seen this recipe that seems approachable for me to try in sha Allah! 😂❤ Is kanafa saffron?
When she said “or food coloring” her voice was less enthusiastic
Looks delicious! I wish I liked ricotta cheese. 😢 could I substitute mascarpone for the ricotta? I don’t want to ruin the recipe. I have never heard of sweet cheese.
I’m so confused. She jumped from butter and cheese, to sugar and simple syrup, and no one else is lost?! Is this supposed to be more like a dessert? Looks like it’s very popular based on comments!
So it's a Cheesy, buttery, crispy dessert thing? Looks amazing!
😍
My Egyptian mother in-law shreds it by hand.
🤩It looks AMAZING😍
I was eating this when she uploaded the video😅it’s so good tho
Gharame kneffe😋🤤
Happy Anniversary! I’ve never heard of the dessert but it sounds yummy. 😋
I spent 2 months in Jordan and eveyone that I went with loved kanafa but I’m gluten free so I was never able to try it
Yum! I remember eating this many many years ago and it was so so good! 😋 The flavours and texture are amazing. Wow. Thanks for bringing back that memory ^_^ 💜
This looks delicious!
Not gonna lie, that looks bomb. I'm not Muslim or born in that culture so I've never had this but I sooo wanna try it. I love baklava so knowing it's the same dough makes me want to try it even more
sounds good
casually flips us off-😅
I feel like my cat all I can think about is *heavy breathing* eating… 😩
That sounds so delicious. I want to make it .
I've tried that when I was working in uae, it's one of my favorite.
Thank you, Mimo, for sharing this recipe with everyone! I am going to give it a go. ❤
That looks and sounds delicious 😋
