I'll watch this later after the dub comes out I am kinda excited how the cast will change up for it
I watched it, and It felt very unnecessary. In a franchise that has no "one true canon", giving him an origin story feels moot.
Show was an absolute banger, tho it really should’ve been 12 episodes
I disagree there is clearly a connection with part 4 and 5, there is also a very young Albert alongside Lupin I, among other things he takes a lot of inspiration from the chapters from the original manga where there is precisely Lupin III as a boy starting from the character design
Money Punch really liked the "kid Lupin" idea , considering he made an entire flashback chapter series and a spin-off about Lupin and Fujiko’s son.
