Follows Kazuki Kurusu, a criminal contractor/coordinator who lives with his best friend, Rei Suwa, a professional assassin who has been raised from childhood to be a contract killer. Kazuki is outgoing and loves gambling and women, while Rei is a man of few words who spends his off time playing video games. One day, the two buddies end up caring for Miri Unasaka, a four year old girl whose father is a mafia boss, after Miri accidentally wanders into a firefight in a hotel while looking for her father.

Y'all have to understand that, Miri and her Mom (Misaki) will be at risk if Kazuki and Rei choose to betray the organization, that's why Kyutaro made the decision to contact her mom. I know it's the last time we'll be seeing her. But, it's for the best and it's for her and her mother's own safety and for their sake.

You don't name a series Buddy Daddies so that Miri leaves. It's like naming a show The Cooking Show only to have them stop cooking in episode 10 of the series lol. She'll be back.
There was foreshadowing in this episode, when Miri was showing them her room, the mom can see how much they love her, she knows in her heart they will be the best caregivers. What would be the best is that during missions, they leave Miri with the mom so she can still see her and maintain a relationship, and then the rest of the time, she's with them.
So although the episode was sad and hurt the heart, there will be happy tears soon when Miri returns. This series also easily deserves a season 2 lol.
This series will have 13 episodes, ONLY 3 LEFT????!!! WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THESE 3? WILL THERE BE SEASON 2 OR IS THIS A MINI SERIES??!! ALSO REMEMBER THERE IS STILL HOPE, THE BEGGINING OF EPISODE 1 WAS 3 MONTHS AFTER SO IT MEANS SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN.

I don’t know how to feel about this episode like on one hand it’s the safer option for Miri since the org given them a warning on the other i feel like her mom is a part of a deadly chess game like the wife of the Miri’s dad is pissed and ordered a hit via the org so they’re using Miri’s mom as a pawn for the org to kill Rei and Kazuki
I feel like at the end Miri will live with her papas. There's a reason for which I'm saying her mom has cancer and in the song trailer we see a moment where her mom is crying maybe she won't make it for long and then Miri will again start living with Kazuki and Rei. Because in that trailer we see Rei and Miri brushing together in their bathroom and till now we haven't seen any scene like that so it should be a scene from the upcoming episodes (according to me)

I just hope that she and Misaki find happiness and I hope that after Misaki's death, her parents will be as loving to Miri as Kazuki and Rei have been
Its such sadness-overkill for Miri that her mom is dying. She keeps getting attached to caregivers and is then ripped away from them. ;^; I cannot believe how selfish this mom is. I understand Rei and Kazuki need to do this to protect Miri. But the mom is exactly as Kazu said, a super selfish person. She dumped a 4 year old on a train to go "find her dad". She does not deserve Miri, only reason this is "the best option" is the danger risk.
