So it's realistically terrifying, and as someone who kinda experienced the same thing as Kazuki this hit me hard. btw there's also others that are a good example of this, like miri's mom and the assassin's work itself, but I just picked Kazuki 🙂

I'm pretty sure after episode 8 came out, Yuzuko was planned to be killed by Ogino Ryo because they found out that Kazuki had a fiancee
In ep 7 I doubt Ogino was working with Kazuki. If Rei doesn't know who Ogino is (in ep8) Kazuki then surely doesn't know who he was either. To Kazuki it just looked like the car randomly crashed
