When you announced which show was #2, I knew right away only one other show could have filled the #1 slot and I felt filled with pride for the GOAT.

Fire list. Super happy call of the night made the cut. One of my favorite reactions from y'all. I don't personally have a list but I can say i have like 20 anime in my top 10 lol. I can say that demon slayer ep 17 was fight of the year followed up by summer time rendering ep 15. Can't wait to catch up on all your goddamn bleach reactions lol. Only watched ep 1.

I actually have no problems with your list. Haven't seen One Piece or Bleach and have yet to start new seasons of Danmachi or My Hero. You definitely made me think about going ahead and start them though. You have most of my top 2022 shows on your list. A few others would be Summertime Rendering, Kaguya-Sama, Ahren Is Indecipherable, Yakuzas Guide to Babysitting, and Classroom of the Elite. No way can I make a top 10 list. To difficult! Anyways, enjoyed the video. Can't wait to see what we have coming for 2023!!!

Both one piece and bleach have a lot of un-answered plot points, the reason I perfer op right now is that the difference is oda is still doing weekly chapters, and the chances of us getting a plot thread explained is THERE 😂

NARUTO has the best fights
Bleach has the best characters/side characters
One piece has the best world building

Man forgot about reiner's arc, theo and shadis' arc ,zeke's arc, floch's arc.
Its fine to just say i dont want to credit this anime due to my interactions with its toxic fanbase. But saying stupid shit like only eren is the one character whose writing is good is LAME.
Plus,the new arc was all about mikasa getting out of her "ackerrmann bond" and letting go of her loyalty to eren. Armin is suffering from the survivor's guilt after having replaced the genral commander at a young age.
COMPLEX CHARACTER WRITING IS NOT EVERYONE'S FORTE. YOU WILL BE OK.

only gonna do new shows because it would be hard not to put stuff like Mob Psycho and JoJo on here and there was so much new stuff this year i wanna focus on.
10. Love Flops: starts iffy but gets better and weirder with every episode. the back half is mindblowing
9. Aharen-san wa Hakarenai: translates to Aharen is Incomprehensible. just a really cute, chill little romcom about a couple of real goofballs
8. Spy x Family: it's gotta be on here right? kind of a modern classic
7. Bocchi the Rock: the most i've related to a character in ages
6: Chainsaw Man: not typically my vibe, but it's so good i can't help but appreciate it anyway
5. Ya Boy Kongming: time travel is always my jam, and this is one of the best. it subverts the whole "the character is dumb bc they're from the past" thing by making the MC a master strategist from the Three Kingdoms period. there's initial confusion, but he picks up quick, and it's more about him using his battle skills to help a girl become a famous singer. great OP too
4. Birdie WIng: it's the Lesbian Mafia Golf anime, what more could you want?
3. Akiba Maid War: legit one of the most buckwild first episodes ever put to film. absolutely has to be seen to be believed. all i'll say is that the title is much more literal than you might think at first glance
2. My Dress-Up Darling: immaculately crafted romcom, incredible characters. more or less a perfect show, would have been my top spot if the next one hadn't come to eat its lunch a few months later
1. Call of the Night: so exactly my shit. it's a romcom, but it's moody and there's philosophical shit and vampire fights? sign me the fuck up. Anko Uguisu is a fucking Problem 🥵 and to top it off, it's the most gorgeous show this side of Demon Slayer. it's the show that got me back into reading manga! turns out, the anime is really just kind of the prologue/setup to the actual story. it gets even more interesting and plotty basically immediately after the first season ends. highly recommend checking that out! (or just looking forward to season 2 lol)

You may change your mind about Spy x Family this year. Season 2 will have the cruise arc, which is when we see Yor in action. I have no clue what the movie will be. I believe it's an original story. As for the relationship between Loid and Yor, that is going to be sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow. All the manga readers are dying! We want to see Loid and Yor's relationship to progress more and become a real couple. The current arc feels like it's setting up changes for the Forgers. I won't spoil it unless someone wants me to. The arc is still on going, it feels like it's going to be long like the cruise arc, or possibly longer.

Number 1 had to be Bleach.

imho, one piece is pretty low on me coz you can really see the repeating cycle of it (i got real tired of it, Fairy Tail is worse ver of it)
my hero is not even in my consideration, cant explain it in detail but nux taku explained it well
demon slayer is ufotable and lisa, no matter how you slice it, lets be real here (it got popular on a certain episode coz ufotable budget)
danmachi is another sao, so.. eh.. bleach? aside from fullbring arc, its decent
