Watch 2 min. of the flag football game and about 45 seconds of a highlight real of the basketball game. Please at-least get reed of the Team Lebron CRAP!

All-star games in all sports have outlived their usefulness. Fans were excited to see players in these games that they didn't see often when there were only 3 broadcast networks and cable wasn't widely available. Now, you can follow your favorite sport all year long in some capacity, even watching clips of old games on internet or sports package like NFL Network. The games aren't very competitive regardless if they are playing for home field advantage or even money. No player, and rightly so, wants to risk injury in a meaningless game. Yes, playing for home field advantage is something but it is not worth a weeks-long or season-ending injury that affects your team's ability to win. The leagues would be better off naming an all-star team and giving out trophies for making the list. But that won't happen since there is still money to be made from these games despite them being not very good.
