The question i would ask is what is a true warrior, you remember his dad said he wasnt a true warrior cause he still needed his sword .Not a religious person but alot of people would say a lot of the prophets are True warriors I don't remember them using force to defend loved ones
The old man is the farm owners(Ketil) father, thus making him important
This episode takes place in between a few months
I think Thorfinn, you have some much to still living. Not a single good thing has happend to you? Well, you must made your first ever real friend.
that's character development at the highest peak only Thorfinn and Musashi was able to achieve the best character development in all of manga and Anime history.
The asymmetry between having wealth and work is very well addressed here, but it seems to me that it is only the construction for greater conclusions.
The script is really not something trivial in this work.
GREATINGS FROM BRAZIL!
14:00 – Its like Thorfinn just up Dex on RPG until level 20. Now the boy needs some inteligence.
Thorfinn and Einar's toughest enemy yet: a tree stump.
I love how Belz is involved with the story
his friendship with einar is the first tender feeling thorfinn has experienced since the death of his father and that makes me a little emotional
If you're confused about the kings:
Canute became the king of England. Canute's brother Harald became the king of Denmark.
At 7:10 I still dont understand why I teared up and got goosebumps when Thorfinn speaks about the plow. This season is something else..
There isn't actually much of a timeskip into this episode. A month or two at most. Canute's episode took place starting a little before Einar was sold to Ketil in 1015 (the meeting with Eadric), to when Canute was crowned King in 1018. This episode is back in early fall of 1015 still, so Canute hasn't been crowned yet, and Ethelred and Edmund haven't died of "an illness."
I can see how things are confusing with the timeline in this season. If you compare it to season one it gets even more odd. The first season was told slightly out of manga order to put everything into chronological order. In the manga you get the job in France for Jabbathe before Yukimura goes back and shows you Thorfinn's childhood and how he ended up in Askeladd's mercenary group.
Love Vinland saga man
Esse episódio foi tão precioso, gostei muito de ver a evolução no caráter do protagonista, estou curioso para ver o que irá acontecer nos próximos episódios.
Einar and Thorfinn having a wholesome moment
Mel: Goatee?
That shit took me out I can't lie 🤣
You're probably the first reactor to notice that Thorfinn is changing
Been watching you guys for a while now and just noticed I hadn't subscribed 🤯 I am now though 😅
Farmland Saga is so peak
Mem your anime character are wrong your fat in his flat
You've prolly already read a message that said this, but this takes place back at the tail-end of 1005, while the end of last ep was 1008. It went back in time a few years, so canute isn't king yet
