It will always be mid compared to the original. Sure it looks good but I'll die on the "CGI is trash" hill

Manga is top-tier even the moments that Knightow made hard to read in some panels. 98 is classic but doesn’t have all the characters. Stampede did something different that I appreciate and Stargaze went in the direction but lacked funding and time, it needed SO much time. Two seasons wasn’t enough for this anime too much was left out or changed.
Propaganda. I will never let the old Trigun die by watching the new crap.
The artstyle is a massive turnoff, i get that the faux 3d is a technical marvel, but that grungy 90s 2D style is just too good looking, not to mention its more accurate to manga art

Millie not being Meryl's partner in the first appearance was the sole reason I didn't watch stampede. Otherwise I thought it looked meh.
They change the story change the character personalities and designs as a huge fan of the original stampede just feels like a slap in the face let's take away the personality and uniqueness of the original and make it 3D slop
The 3d anime is just hurtful to the eyes for me. Just look at what they did to my boy Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star. One of the most goated and influential anime ever and we get CG. Even the guys who inspired JoJo cant get JoJo treatment
