    Instead they ended up with pale rider… but that is no mere catalyst it holds the spirit of jiao as well, a deity qin killed using that

  6. For those wondering what Jester made Tsubaki do. Pale Rider was simply watching over and having tea parties with Tsubaki the entire time trying to keep her happy because he is simply just there to keep his master happy, hence the entire fake world it created for her. She had no wish for the Holy grail nor anything outside of simply trying to meet her parent's expectations. So when Jester led her to make the comment of her wanting to be a Magician (a Magicians and a Magus are two completely different things in this world and all the masters are Magus), Pale Rider heard her wish and became active to grant that wish by obtaining the Holy Grail for her.
