Edit: Jokes aside, it is possible for servants to be the manifestation of concepts. Nursery Rhyme is a similar type of servants in Grand Order and Fate Extra

Just to be clear, the being called “Jiao” is different and not Tsubaki’s Servant. It is a spirit left within the crossbow
The Four horsemen of the Apocalypse are War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death; Pale Rider is another name for that version of Death. Its a strange pagan mythos that has survived the generations by constantly adapting to modern mythologies.
Jiao isn't a Servant it will be explained later but for simpler term she is something that's been left behind and connected to the lore of the crossbow and come one Jiao is clearly Chinese lol Mayans and Aztecs names are longer and letters that doesn't usually fit is together in a name
Jiao is gender ambiguous and their name is Chinese 😅
TLDR; Jiao is a spirit summoned by the Godfelling Crossbow related to the Chinese legend of Qin Shi Huang and Xu Fu. while The Pale Rider, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse is the Fake Rider-class Servant summoned by Tsubaki Kuruoka
Jiao means a Shark in mandarin.
The God Felling Crossbow comes from Chinese myth where Quin Shi Huang has given it to his servant while sending him to find the fabled herb of immortality. It's told to have fell the god of sea who stood in front of that servant.

Jiao and Pale Rider are two different things, Jiao is an entity that comes from the God-feeling Crossbow (which Tsubaki's Parent wants to use as a catalyst), while Pale Rider is Tsubaki's Servant, it was summoned by Tsubaki who received a command spell with the bacteria in her body as a catalyst

Summoning an entity from the Book of Revelations is bad enough, but summoning the fourth of the horsemen of apocalypse? Tsubaki's parents really screwed up big time.

Pretty sure it had been a mis-translation or something like that, her servant is The Pale Rider of the 4 horsemen of apocalypse. But because of the word structure the translation put the 4 horsemen of apocalypse first. thats why it got confusing.
Ik my FGO fans clapping like seals hearing "Latin America" and "Bacteria". Its a shame they never actually explain the correlation in the Babylon anime.
Pale Rider is the 4th Horseman of the apocalypse, Death itself.
Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse:
1. White Horse: Conquest
2. Red Horse: War
3. Black Horse: Famine
4. Pale Horse: Death – followed closely by Hades, with power to kill a fourth of the earth by sword, famine, plague, and wild beasts

Tsubaki's parent planned to summon Qin Shi Huan at first, so they try to use that bow to summon him, but they didn't expect that their daughter became the master and summoned The Pale Rider.
And Jiao are one of the "soul" that stuck inside that bow, because she got struck by that bow before.

It doesn't have much to do with being clean since most of them are inside your body. They're also really useful, for example they help you digest some food and a lack/imbalance in your gut biom can lead to illness.
Going back to Fate, it's not that relevant to Strange Fake but the fact that the bacteria they got is from old latin American temple explains why it was able to be a catalyst for something as powerful as Pale Rider and why Tsubaki is able to maintain such a huge reality marble. (Spoiler for FGO)
In Fate many of the Aztec/Mayan gods were space bacteria that took over living host. Like all gods they declined with the age of man, but basically Tsubaki was injected with the remain of a god.
Also, while the god here has no connection with Atlantis, Atlantis did exist in Fate. Basically everything Ancient Alien think is real, is real in Fate.

What's crazy is that one of pale rider's np was nerfed by tsubaki's innocence, basically one of his NP can recreate the end of times, though that depends on its master's knowledge of apocalypse, but in tsubaki's case she doesn't know any of these things
