Pale Rider is so cool, has Riding EX because it "rides" the world itself via diseases.
In regards to the mystery god(?) with the clam aesthetic, no they havent appeared anywhere else in the Fate series besides Strange Fake
I can't lie, the transparent person- even reading the novel that scene confused me 😂 still no clue who tf that was, but I ain't shocked if I missed the context clues
So the real reason behind Pale Rider going all out was really due to it taking Tsubaki's words at a face value.
Tsubaki said that she wants to become a "Magician", it might sound like she just wants to become a mage, but in the Type Moon universe, mages and Magicians are completely different things. In short, the Holy Grail presented in the HGW is the product of "Magic", it's something that can not be replicated with regular magecraft, it's the equivalent of a miracle. Currently there are only 5 great mages in the entire world who can be considered as "Magicians", and Pale Rider took it as if Tsubaki really wanted to become one of them.
However, it's next to impossible for someone to simply "become" a Magician, and Pale Rider could not figure out a way to do it aside from doing what it could do: taking the Holy Grail first, then merge with it to fulfill Tsubaki's wish.
This series is Absolute Cinema, this has got to be the Best Fate Series ever since this is pure fan service.

On a note… the bacteria that Tsubaki's parents put in her are not any magical bacteria… it's from mesoamerica aztecs ruins… from fate verse… so yeah it's probably that bacteria the one with that divinity type from mesoamerican gods… one linked with death… in fate is most likely related to that god from the seventh lostbelt the "Smoking mirror" and "Lord of the Night Sky"… the sibling of the "Feathered Serpent" that we all know from Fate babylonia.
not a fan of recent anime season ending on cliffhangers. kaju no 8 s2, now this show. at least resolve the pickle they are in. like it feels like a episode ending then a season ending. and instead of waiting a week, now i have to wait one or two year. goddamnit
