This Ishtar is a lot different than the fgo ishtar, but that’s probably because she’s not in Rin’s body.
Now as someone who really enjoys Goddess and Gods history/stories i am not blind to Ishtar's faults or actions. However, had this been any other servant or God that had done Gill in none of yall would be on em like this 😂😅 we all wouldn't be here.

Tbh after having read the the other texts about ishtar after the epic of Gil, man the epic of Gilgamesh is a big slander hit piece against everyone lol altho ishtar catches most of the biggest strays, cause of the fact she is one of the main antagonists, which is funny cause in reality she isn’t not a bad person actually, it’s just that well the epic kinda inverts some facts about her life, like her multiple husbands which she left cause well, they backstabbed her, all of them, and not because Ishtar was being a bad wife, it’s actually her ex husbands that are welll….. the worst, ironically ishtar has like the worst luck with partners, despite being a godess of love, altho she was very much loved by the people in general, i mean thanks to record we know that well ishtar in her multiple names was like one of the most worshiped gods around, what the epic does is essentially invert Either some of the positive traits of ishtar, or invert some events or just remove context or amplifies some negative moments ishtar had , for example leaving her husband in the underworld in the hands of eresh, well that asshole of a husband got freed and Ishtar died to get him out but guess what he did, he celebrated that she was dead, she got revived by the other gods than kicked said husband down to the underworld again, this time permanently, as he deserved and yes that husband was dumized or how the hell his name is written, the silly sheep god in fgo. Ironically ishtar in fgo is actually quite close to the rest of the myths except for the epic of Gil, just with some mix of epic of Gil negative traits for ishtar otherwise she is the closest to the actual depiction of her, meanwhile strange fake’s is more towards epic of Gilgamesh ishtar, I don’t know if it’s intentional tho, also considering well we don’t know if they put other mythos outside epic of Gil In the mix for Ishtar character research.
