Tobera’s VA also voiced Pochita from CSM (funnily enough, Maia and Homare’s VAs are in a gacha game known as Uma Musume, which is like a whiplash as Uma Musume is about idol horse girls running and is pretty wholesome. While Homare is like Naoya Zenin, she’s actually based on Juri Han from Street Fighter (personality and looks) and her ability is similar to how Fighting Game characters work, as you input moves and can’t suddenly do something else (she’s also petty, since she used Python to put Maia in a pink dress with her super speed.) The song Tobera sung is anime original, but it really set the tone for the battles. 13:44 – Yes, Python is a coding program. 15:30 – It’s meant to be a double entendre, as she said that she’s ‘still growing’ in Japanese, which can mean physically or power wise (which she beats the branch members in both ways.)

18:17 – Homare is a black sheep, which is why she bullied Himari, as Himari was part of the main family, but Himari was too weak to fight back. She hates the main family because they looked down on/mistreated her, but it doesn’t justify her bullying Himari. 18:55 – She ultimately just cares about strength, so she follows the ‘survival of the fittest’ mentality and Himari proved her strength, despite running away from the family house. There’s also a scene that was after the Ren scene.
