Reincarnated as a dragon hatchling was the true underrated good isekai anime of this season for me with 8.16 out 10 ratings !
I really do like that the human transformation is a skill and less of an ability. He is going to have to upgrade it, also has its drawbacks (cuts some stats in half, constantly drains MP, and doesn't even look very human (at least not at level 1). Would be interacting with Mirai and other humans could help upgrade his human tranformation skill.
I don't think monkey king will be an ally. Our MC got exp at the end of the battle, so i think we can assume monkey king is dead.
Those red berries/spices are very valuable. I wonder if he will use them stop the adventurers when they return, because it seems highly likely they've going to return to the cave with the rest of their party. If he got that telepathy skill by beatin the monkey leader he could use to communicate with humans and show he not a treat to them and use those barries olive branch/barganing chip.
Once he he gets his skill some levels he'll be looking totally humanoid.

The ugly bastard fighter MC was better looking than this poor dragon in his humanoid abomination form
it really is good 3d. So much more animated than standard "isekai slop" and still blends way better with 2d than some some other 3d show (like that paralyse poison isekai)
im sure he has to keep leveling up to get and actual human form. that ending though. if he gets a ape waifu as well…monkey-dragons, when?

I bet he needs another skill that lets him supress his monster appearence or mana or whatever is making hom look like that bcs I am imagining that even if he lvls up his human transformation and would look like normal human/some kind of humanoid to us, he still would have that aura around him making him look even worse 😂
Ah…… our poor dragon…. Like considering skills and titles level up, eventually it’ll go up and he’ll become a full human. Hopeful speaking anyway.
Last episode was good, we got a new ally in the venom princess, got in a life or death situation and our mc has someone he’s attached to. BUT then this episode, holy wow it was good in the funny side and action side.
Again I assume the human transformation skill just needs to level up and I wonder how long it’ll take for him to be in contact with those 2 adventurers, cause I assume eventually maybe he’ll save them and maybe that will be the opportunity he needs to get they’re trust or what could be more fun is if they decide to observe him and maybe that’ll cause something to happen.
The fight was definitely one of my favorites of this anime so far, the introduction of the big boss monkey, the use of telepathy and then the duel. First started overwhelming then turned into a tactical battle, once the boss had enough it became a overwhelming situation once again and our mc came to only a single conclusion…

I absolutely look forward to the conclusion next week, will we get just a new allies under him or will we get the previous boss too? (I question because the mc gained experience so I can’t tell if he killed the monkey boss or not)
Well I got burned. I thought "human transformation" was a passive skill that other's saw, so he was the one everyone in the village thought was the dead adventurer zombie thingy. But just like in Kumo Desu, I like how the way the audience sees him is rounder, softer and cuter than how he looks in world. Makes for great fun when you see how other characters see him.

i have no idea how will they managed to animate the mc's next forms, the author himself was tired drawing him in recent manga chapters xd
The show is very interesting. I guessing the end of beginning arc will be starting in few episode. I can see why, the show can seem slowy, due it slowy pace story compare to another isakai series. If you want know more story, read the light novel which complete in Japan with volume 17. The official English version is at vol. 12, but vol. 13 being release soon this year. Also you can read the manga which just had to finished the second arc.
the Human transformation reminds me of the green beast guys that replace the zombies if you killed them in the first resident evil game, no wonder the girls ran away scared, lol
the dragon really had it rough this episode the fake out on the human transformation, the two adventurers attacking him and then the monkey boss he really like Subaru, Kazuma, Naofumi, Haijame and makoto in a way
Some were saying that MC should have used his poison skills more, but I enjoyed the pure fisticuffs more.
Show is going to keep baiting us with MC will eventually have human interaction but in fact grow a monster party.
