  4. Lost in Adaptation:
    The girl who bumped into Tine did so because she couldn't see her. She's wearing a special ring that makes her invisible to normal people, which is why Gilgamesh noticed the priest wasn't an "ordinary mongrel" when said priest noticed Tine.

  5. I'm sure someone can explain in more detail/accuracy the difference between magecraft and magic but here I go. There are 5 magics. One is the Heaven's Feel, materialization and immortality of the soul, which is what the Einzberns sought after in the grail wars in fuyuki. Zelretch (he appeared at the end of episode zero) is the magician for the second magic. Aoko Aozaki has the 5th magic. Everything other than the 5 is magecraft. The main difference between them is mystery. After the Age of Gods and into the Age of Man, mystery dwindled as humanity discovered more through science. Magic is something that cannot be replicated by current science and technology and exists as true miracles. This is true among the works of the Nasuverse, extending past just Fate, so its not about the real vs fake wars. However I suppose it is similar in playing into the themes of fake vs real.

  6. Not that it matters to strange fake but the difference between magecraft and magic is that magecraft can accomplish things achievable by science while magic goes beyond what is possible for humanity

  7. Just think of the difference between Magecraft and Magic as this:

    Magecraft: "I can do X because it's possible (just hard)."
    True Magic: "I can do X because it's impossible."

  8. Magic in Fate is separated into Magecraft and True Magic , Magecraft can only make what is possible with science but using only supernatural means like you can throw a fireball using Magecraft but if you have a flamethrower you can also throw fire around .
    True Magic on the other hand is where you can do the crazy shit like time traveling , create from nothing ,operating parallel worlds and resurecting the dead . The Grail war can grant wishes because its backed by the 3rd True Magic Heavens Feel .

  9. there are more creatures that exist outside of humans
    they are categorized too

    demonic beast
    phantasmal beast
    divine beast

    witches do exist but you won’t see them in fate almost at all we only see a few not even 10 in all of the verse not just fate

    for another example those things the chief summoned with his guns those were

    gallu spirits/spirits
    gazers
    and soul eaters

    they are actual creatures that onces existed on the planet you will most likely see them in the reverse side of as summons

    and what jester means by his comment is

    himself a dead apostle defiles human order and noble phantasms are crystallization of the human history

    while servants are beings who affirms human history and protect the rules of the human world

    the outcome to this while the dead apostle is trying to defile human order servants protect it from being defiled so thats why under a servants hands those Noble phantasms would work on jester

  10. This isnt actually the first time Dead Apostles have appeared in Fate anime, as there are two cases of them appearing in Fate/Zero, both in Kiritsugu’s backstory specifically. Remember how Shirley became savage after drinking Kiritsugu’s dad’s experiment? She essentially became a Dead Apostle, which was why the Church and Mages Association responded with such ferocity. The other case would be the guy with the wasps that Kiritsugu and his mom assassinated in the plane

About the noble phantasms not working on Jester, a simpler way to describe things is that both Clan Calatin and Caster's noble phantasms are a bunch of NPCs and high tier standard weapons with no history that aren't important to the world with no historical/conceptual weight to them compared to a famous weapon like Excalibur, etc

  15. It's not about power levels, Fate operates more in a rock, paper, scissors kind of way, in many instances, doesn't matter how much power you have if you are incompatible the same way paper always beats rock

  18. Dead apostles(DA) concept actually has appeared in Fate/Zero with Kiritsugu Backstory, his father experiments turns Kiritsugu Friends to DA, and The Church sent bunch of Executioners Priest to kill them all..

    Vampires or DA is actually concepts that more commonly found in Tsukihime world.

    Will not blame for you guys confusion because this Fate Strange Fake is just has so many contents from the Nasuverse..

    Only Fate Nerds would understand so many of them, but Author still make sure to made it as easy as possible to understand
