  1. To be fair to Stark, he grew up unloved by his family except his brother and was raised by a dwarf. His social skills would be lacking.

  2. The relationship between Fern and Stark grows without forcing anything no one suddenly becomes someone else no feelings are pushed or rushed everything is built in the details a protective gesture a word said at the right moment like in this episode,simply being there when it matters

  14. Indeed tragic😯. Stark tried his best to make Fern happy despite the places he visited weren't the places he would really enjoy, while Fern also wanted her partner to be happy, so she was worried when Stark felt strange; she also dressed up differently, and neglected wanting the necklace. They gotta realize they both care about each other:)

  23. I like this even through the heavy editing. It shows that women spend a lot of time getting ready because they want to look as close to perfect as possible, and that men will short circuit rather than say the "right" things when they see someone they are attracted to.

    Also love that Stark fessed up that he asked Frieren for help, they're starting to develop healthy communication, and he's starting to understand that even if the actions don't have the desired results, usually it's the thought that counts.

  33. People seem to forget, the cornerstone of the series is TIME. How we spend it, what it means, what happens and how you view it. And maybe im just that old in the head, but i enjoy the innocent, slow, compassionate clumsiness of two very young people growing closer. Remember you started this story wirh a mage who only realized she missed out on her love and friendship with others 80 years later. Shes learning, but that takes time. Relationships take time. Its worth it to take time.
