Personally the Strange Fake Dub is not as good and the characters seem awkward at times
This isn't explained in this Fate, but when Servants and Masters deepen their bond. The Masters can have dream's of the servants past. Lionheart once met Saint Germain. And Remember in the last Episode Francesca said Saint Germain is extremely powerful because he was able to absolutely kill her
Never watch anime in dub, ruins the experience, emotions arent there.
He don’t summon the sword
If he want, everything he holding is Excalibur
The dub is actually pretty good ngl!

I will say, the dub is superb, and no one is watching it that way, so I'd love it if you guys did. They do a great job with it, in my opinion. And like you say, sometimes you miss things when you pay attention to subs and not what you're watching, and vice versa.
8:25 Fake Caster pretty much hinted at his ability.
Richard always dreamt of finding excalibur, to the point of going around and pretending everything in his hand was the actual Excalibur.
That's his ability, his can use anything in his hand to use Excalibur, that is, if you know Fate, Excalibur's true ability is a beam of light from the tip of the sword.
So it doesn't matter. Of course, as how it was hinted, that branch was still a branch, so if he had… better weapons, his "Excalibur" may be more powerful.
But could it ever be as strong as THE Excalibur?
