Predicting the entire plot of Gavan Infinity

I watched the original Metal Hero, Space Sheriff Gavan, from 1982 to prepare for Gavan Infinity next week. (超宇宙刑事ギャバン インフィニティ) The first entry in Toei’s new Project R.E.D. series!

This is my channel where I review Tokusatsu, including Sentai, Kamen Rider, Ultraman, and Power Rangers.

  1. 0:55 not just preteens that wish they were japanese. whole grown adults that wish they were japanese too… ill get that naturalization at some point in my life

  2. The Emorgears, the collecibles for Gavan Infinity…have windows on the back…for their buttcheeks…

There are people theorizing that the particles that come out of the gun when they transform…is their farts…

So im gonna take a shot in the dark and say the original Gavan didnt have that

  3. As a grown ass 30 something with a 9-5 and bills that grew up with the Saban shows and only started watching Sentai when they were on the TokuShoutsu channel on Pluto tv, I’m excited to see something new and fresh. Plus, I’m still catching up on past Sentai seasons, and there’s still Kamen Rider seasons I haven’t seen yet.

Sentai may be going on hiatus, but Gavan Infinity looks good, Power Rangers should be coming back later this year, and Zeztz is a banger.

  4. The BluRay release is also available to stream on Tubi. Unfortunately, you pirated a show that's available legally in the US in three ways: Buy on BluRay, stream on YouTube, and stream on Tubi. On a another note, I personally love Gavan. Great show and I'm looking forward to what this new one is going to be like. I'm not expecting it to be like the original but I do wonder how much they are going to pull from it.

  5. "This show for dusty old Japanese Baby Boomers."
This show came out in 1982. Its intended audience were not the Japanese equivalent of the Baby Boomer demographic born between 1946-64.

It's a show for the Japanese equivalent of dusty old Gen-X kids.

  6. I am not the least bit excited for Infinity for two reasons, so far, nothing about it looks different than any current Sentai show and it has a lot of expectations being named after the original Gavan. Due to the name, it better be plentiful with out of suit action scenes while having the Gavans do their own stunts. It also needs to have the villains be a credible threat who kill people. I don't mean just turn them into an object or something until the monster is defeated and then they all revert back to normal, I mean dead. It also needs to have less focus on gimmicks. We have way too much of that these days. Lastly, it needs to be mature. None of this childish crap like fart jokes and the like.

You are probably right about Gavan Death turning out to be Infinity's mentor as that's just how Toei rolls.

Sentai has needed a good rest for a while now. It should have taken one after Timeranger since Rider was back, but it really needed it after Gokaiger as the last 15 years have not been good for the franchise. There's been some exceptions, but as a whole, Sentai has been dreadful. I'm kind of disgusted that Toei had to backpeddle and say Sentai is only going on a hiatus rather than ending just to appease the younger generations who apparently can't handle a television show ending, but whatever.

  7. Uchuu keiji Gvaan was my first toku when I was a kid, however I don't really feel project red since they said it's not a reboot of the metal hero franchise but they still kept gavan name so its really odd for me. I just don't get why there is multiple "Gavan", why not use uchuu keiji ?

They tried to design the changer to have multiple modes like Tega-sword, but goddamn it they fumbled hard in my opinion.
For me the multi-purpose type henshin device is super hard to perfect, Tega-Sword was already a perfect execution, but the "FORCED designs" starts with DX Goodeburn (Tega Naguru) with that POKING STRETCHING LEGS
and they are doing the same goddamn mistake just like Goodeburn…. I hate that we have to essentially "SPREAD THEM LEGS" to insert the Emogears, and Emogears are not impressive for me yet, they CLEARLY trying to use the Gochizo Formula but it looks like a cheap knock-off instead…maybe we need to see it in action first? Even so, it's a bad first impression for me since the silhouette showcase with that type of Changer.
