1st : all others animals suffer at the end but also before, for example : a cow can't have milk without baby, so farmers raped the cow, kill the baby male arround 6/8 months to obtain more milk and more money, the cow will cry her baby's lost and she wil be kill arroundly 5 years old because no more enough milk (instead 20/25 years normally)… And it's just an example, I can also talk about egg…
2nd : human species is omnivorous, and the definition say that we CAN eat all, but "can" don't mean we are OBLIGED TO… It's because we are omnivorous and because our knowledge grow that today we can easily live without give suffering to the others species…
3rd : for political, yes in some country we have people who fight for animals, example : in France we have "Le Parti Animaliste"
4th : compared human to the others species to valid a cruelty is stupid, mainly when people talk about the lion ('coz all excuses say in this episode is something I heard since my begining of veganism 11 years ago) because when a lion become the NEW king, he will raped all female and kill all baby from the previous king, so if they use that type of excuses, the rape and the infanticide can become legal… Just to explain the stupidity of that type of argument…
I can talk with people who want talk for real, not to read stupid argument like in this episode, it's time to learn and evolve…

just name the different characteristics, according to your morality, that make it okay for you to kill animals, and which, if you apply them to humans in a hypothetical scenario, would also justify killing humans. In short, justify killing animals. If you can't, that's extremely pathetic. You're acting in a speciesist way and determining who can be killed solely based on their species.

It’s pretty shallow to say that “we can digest animals, so there’s nothing wrong about it”. If you think that “might makes right” then you should also not have any problem with bullying, since the bully has the power over the bullied.
But that’s a really convenient and easy way to try and justify the forced breeding, enslavement and exploitation of other animals, because you don’t believe animals deserve basic respect.
The problem is not the conditions that animals are raised in. The problem is that they are viewed as resources in the first place. They are objectified and commodified. Their values are reduced to their utility to us. We feel entitled to control their bodies, and neglect their natural interests.
We (me, you and the people watching this video) are not in a situation of survival. And if we have the option not to exploit and harm someone else, choosing to do so is simply immoral.
This reaction made me uncomfortable, but I understand that you may not yet fully recognize what is wrong with the modern human lifestyle of consuming animal meat. The idea that eating animals is “natural” is similar to how, in the past, owning slaves was also considered natural. What we accept as natural is not automatically morally right. As humans, we have the ability to reflect and determine what is truly ethical. I'm confident that in the future, when children are raised on cultivated meat or plant-based proteins, they will look back on their ancestors’ consumption of animal meat as barbaric. There is no perfect lifestyle, but some are clearly better than others.
