  1. I really liked the live-action adaptation movie of this story, and now, I am loving the anime adaptation more because it is able to go into deeper depths with more time for each scene.

  2. I get the feeling Asa needs to be told "yes" rather than "do whatever you want". She needs her choices affirmed or denied rather than ambiguously answered and then complained about later. That is a thing that she's struggling with. You want to do choir? Wonderful! What do you need? How can I support you? Not meh! You do you.

  3. The writing on this shows so good. Too bad not that many people will venture on clicking on it but hopefully some good word of mouth can give it some wings.

  4. Someone on reddit geolocated the accident and it's a rest stop on the side of a highway. I'm convinced Asa was in the store getting some food and her parents died in the car while waiting for her, and if or when that comes out we might see her fall apart again. She may even be blaming her mom because the other option is blaming herself, it could get very sad if that comes up.

  5. I wish this could all be dropped at once. All 100 episodes. I start my Sunday with this drama, polar opposites as a pallet cleanser, then gorgeous romance clear moonlight. Sunday’s are the best.

  6. As a parent, I got a little upset at the mom knows best line. I try hard to let my kids make choices. Sometimes I have to override them, but we always have discussion about why. Between Asa’s mom controlling nature and Makio’s lack of correction for bad choices, Asa isn’t being setup for making good choices in life.

  7. Seriously having a laptop is better than an iPad. So many more tools you can hook up to it. I hope she keeps it since it is one of the first big decisions she made on her own without others input.

  8. It's been a quick minute since I read and watched an anime where the characters feel this human, how they feel and act to their age. Where Makio is mature in some aspects while require helping in adulting, especially with the interaction with the attorney.
