Lol, I loved that twist. They just killed her dad. Its fucked to think about but its so funny at the same time.
I liked it, but I’m taking a HOLD stance so I don’t load up on too many anime. Something may stand out even more in the coming days.

Hope it focuses more on how they manage to carry on with their jobs while taking care of the girl. Obligatory bonding episodes and like going to the park and stuff.

I think when Kazuki went back to check on the cat, it was gone, so he assumed someone took it home, and left the cans of cat food as thanks to them, in case they pass that way again.
Maybe it's a plot point that he looks enough like the guy in the photo to pass as him to Miri, but I really wish they'd made Kazuki and the target look more different to the audience! I think it's the target in the photo at the end (because I feel like Kazuki would react differently to a photo of himself with his SO, given his flashbacks), but it's really hard to tell!
PA Works have been knocking it out of the park lately! Definitely excited to see where this goes!

I think Kazuki and the girl's dad look similar because it may be needed for future drama and plot points
