I love that we see more about Lu guang in this arc. His emotions, thoughts, expressions are much more touchable comparing past. And it's like he's more open toward Cheng Xiaoshi. I mean you can see that intense regret he has about whatever has happened, and hiding his deep sadness is the hardest thing which he has to do… . Poor Lu guang I wanna hug you and cry with you for all you're suffering from… .

That he gets the ball in his face was funny for a moment but the next time it was SO sad and OMG, WHYYY!? He needs a hug, not something like that! Poor Lu Guang… 😭

This scene gave me the worst whiplash ever 😭
I was sobbing, full on BAWLING my eyes out from the scene before and this was literally the next scene and my brain couldn't keep up, I giggled through the sobbing and almost died 😭😂

THE BABIES

Him, saying “I'm okay” over and over again, in a quiet and thwarted voice, without even the hope of being believed…. It's as if this moment completely describes Lu Guang as a person. Broken, with only strength left to hold inside the immense pain and attempts to fix the past. And nothing else. Including admitting that he's not okay and doing something about it. I love every character in this series and it makes me hurt so much for Lu Guang, I really hope for a happy ending, but each episode proves more and more that there is no such thing and each ending to every arc will never be completely “white”, at best “gray”

I can't imagine how Lu Guang must feel to go back in time trying to save Cheng Xiaoshi, only to witness his death over and over again. He may experience being with him again, reliving all those memories – playing those memories in repeat, but to him, his Cheng Xiaoshi is already gone… He retains his past memories he had with Cheng Xiaoshi, and every time he goes back in time, he repeats those memories with Cheng Xiaoshi all over again. The very same memories he had with the original Cheng Xiaoshi – the very same memories he can never share with the current Cheng Xiaoshi. Nothing beats the very first memories you had with someone you deeply care about. It's a miracle he hasn't lost his mind yet. Not to say that this really gives me Madoka Magica's vibe, which is why I got hooked to Link Click in the first place.

Sometimes Lu Guang has the look of disbelief in his eyes – I wonder if that's because Xiaoshi is saying or acting outside of what he remembers. Also, despite what ppl say, I think it's Xiaoshi that is more perceptive to Lu Guang – Xiaoshi always seem to act outside of Lu Guang's expectation, but it's because Xiaoshi is acting appropriately to what Lu Guang's feelings. That is why it is impossible to stick to the past script bc Lu Guang himself is different than his past self and Xiaoshi is just reacting to him. I think at the end of the Bridon Arc, Lu Guang will accept that he has changed their fates and will stop looking surprised all the time. I hope he will not be caught off guard or make him lose his vigilance when we move forward to the start of the end of the season 2.

The Bridon Arc is truly a masterpiece, and my heart can't stop aching for Lu Guang for everything he has to go through 😭 Losing what he cherishes the most over and over again, that's probably driving him insane if not going to kill him at this rate 😭Lu Guang deserves better please please please give him a happy ending 😭😭😭
