City missed the chance to close the gap at the top of the Barclays Premier League after suffering a narrow defeat at Spurs.

Harry Kane scored the only goal of the game in the first-half when Tottenham pounced on a mix-up at the back to finish past Ederson.

Riyad Mahrez came closest to an equaliser just before half-time with a volley that smacked off the woodwork.

Spurs were reduced to 10 men in the dying minutes when Cristian Romero was sent off but the home side survived.

  1. I did not understand how the coach thinks. Entering a match without a captain, Mahrez graduated, who was dangerous, and Silva, who did nothing, retired.
    How long is this stupid??

  12. How many times does a person get stung by the same wasp? It's like groundhog day movie! They sit & wait, till Ederson or Rodri mess up. Rodri is great, but never give him the ball when facing his own goal for goodness sake, he's a bit slow in releasing & all teams know that.
    Kane you're a great player & I'm sure you didn't need us to gift you the record breaking goal.
