ある日、サボテンを買って来たみかん。
みかんは可愛いと言うが、母はその針に恐怖を感じて嫌だと言う。
みかんは「サボテンは人間と同じで愛情を込めないと捻くれる」と言い、更にテレパシーがあると母に言う。
次の日、母は異様にサボテンに見られている感じがして落ち着かなくなってしまう。
