Gate Season 2 is Disappointing Original Gate Fans, Does the Japanese Navy Need More Recruits?
Looks like the Japanese military needs some recruitment in their Navy branch this time of year. A lot of people dislike Gate 2 not having the original cast. That’s kind of because the first gate already kind of concluded everything. Not many important details were missed from the fast pacing the anime had. Also, how are they going to fit entire worships through the gate?
(3rd season) I’m going to rewatch gate later absolute classic #gatejieitaikanochinitekakutatakaeri #gateanime #isekai #isekaianime #rorymercury #otaku #fantasyanime #weeb

Wow I’m like wtf… lol really I been holding the gate series on hold for a long ass time to binge read it later on but season 3? Holy cow what was season 2 about same character for completely different crew :0 😅
yeah the anime didnt finish jack shit.
"The first Gate already kinda concluded everything"
What? Who in their right mind thinks that? They quite literally did not even finish the story arcs they started, the story continued in the original!!!
i dunno, but i like to see more old weaponry get destroyed by explosions
They'll disassemble it, move it in and then reassemble it again easy
GATE is still ongoing in the Manga
This piece has been a shameless recruitment advert from the onset, case closed.
No gaijin allowed in the JSDF conscription
read the manga first and thats the answers you seek
Looks like someone did not read the light novels. These know-it -all's who are making videos like this without researching source material drive me crazy. This new anime is following the light novels. The original cast will return toward the end of the series like in the novels. WOW! enjoy your spoiler.
Well it's was never about the characters but military hardware
Fuck gate, they ruined it by making it for gooners
Zipang wasn't the hit they wanted?
Gate wasn't multi branch enough?
Arpeggio did it even involve JMSDF?
707 was to long ago.
I guess they picked the one most wrong and ran with it.
I mean modern navy vs medieval ships, pirates and sea creatures sounds cool as hell (I'm assuming that's what's happening)
modern ships vs pirate ships? idk
they literally had to disassemble jets in the anime already to get them through the realistically they'll do the same with ships. probably not able to do it on a short time with carriers but destroyers and cruisers (and submarines) its doable. but they'll need a giant port to dispatch a fleet
I gave up on GATE a long time ago, too much anti-foreigner propaganda. Here We Go Again is GATE fan fiction that surpasses the OG in my opinion
Yes the first gate became my favourite i watch that 13 times
Iirc in the unadapted parts, the ships are the smaller ones. All brought through disassembked in sections through the Gate.
that was disappointing
Noo..!!! Lt Itami
Gate 2 looks like that one othet light novel of basically the same premise but it's instead an entire aircraft carrier/battleship of the Japan Navy that got lost in the fog at sea and transported to another world.
same way they fit the massive planes trough?
Wait a minute there's a sequel
I must watch this immediately when it releases is it already released I must see it
From the looks of it it looks like the Japanese military managed to send some aquatic vehicles and they came into contact with a mermaid Civilization by the looks of it
I wonder if the mermaid civilization did any civilian killing
yeh… no.
The novel gets quite complicated and just reading the manga is quite slow, 2 more seasons wouldn't be enough.
Besides the fandom is more excited about this second part wich expands even more the Gate Universe.
Don't worry Itame and his harem appears from time to time
Easy. The sub will fit through with the power of friendship!
Well at least they don't have to deal with aliens.
ITAMIIIIIIIII
correct me if i'm wrong but the manga for gate continues past what the anime covered. i swear i can kinda remember rory getting rekt by a minotaur because of her hesitance in with anything related to Hardy. that wasn't covered by the anime.
Nah man there was still A LOT of story that has been left untold from the original story so them choosing to do this instead of going and finishing up is annoying the hell out of me.
They would have to build the boats from HQ. The bigger question is: how is their logistics system not compromised?
