Let me defend my baby Miri for a second: she was not a lab rat that was made to perform her telekinesis on cue like a dog, or deeply traumatized and forcing herself to act a little older so she can please everyone around her since she has been rehomed so many times in her short life.
Miri is a very typical 4 year old (I have worked with them lol) who at least at first glance wasn’t raised terribly (sure mom sending her on a train to a city all alone is crazy but that’s another level) but of course she wouldn’t fully comprehend what was happening around her.
Anya and Miri are adorable for different reasons, and my ovaries need a break 😅
