    Only ever a day tripper to France. Travelling with my daughter & wondering which area to stay. Wanting to return to moulin Rouge & definitely won’t be doing the dinner this time! Is it safe to walk back to hotel at night time? We are going off peak in winter time. Advice for good/ safe area to stay in off peak please.

  10. Thank you so much for your guides. We are travelling to Paris next year and now we know where to look for hotels. When you said the name of the street Rue Mouffetard I finally knew what the Australian rock band "The Little River Band" sang in a song called Seine City which contains the name of the street where the girl he is looking for lives in Paris. I have always wondered what Glenn Shorrock sang in that lyric. Now I know.

  15. We are going to Paris, July 2026, on a River cruise. Viking put us in Pullman Paris Montparnasse. I’m looking forward to mass at Notre Dame and eating! And people watching!! So much!
