what's ryuk (deathnote) doing here?
I was disappointed with the art style they did for this series.
Felt rushed and half-assed at times.
She's clearing red dots on the mini map, but when he gets to her she's in the middle of a field of flowers as if the undead weren't just stomping all over them.
Man, I haven't watched this yet, but It's a real bummer they gave them generic anime shounen and elf face. The manga art style is so much more interesting and unique and they look like adults instead of teens. I know it's expensive, but it's always a bummer when an anime with an extremely unique and great style that is a big part of it's appeal, like this and Greatest Talker and many others, gets adapted by a studio incapable or unwilling to adapt the art style with anything resembling the original.
It's why when we get a great one that really captures the essence of the original (or even elevates it) like Frieran or 7th son we have to celebrate and appreciate them when it happens.
