  3. This show is nothing fabulous or legendary in the great scheme of anime BUT the story , character development and how are they are portrayed have a honesty goodness in it , that just i cant dismiss .
    I truly want to see more of this show and im afraid that we will NOT get a second season…because of how generic the basic premises are.
    Its IS a hidden gem , if you want something light and fun to watch while you wait for a new season of your preferred show to come out , take a look at it.

  5. So this show is actually trying to use and apply the lesson that Naruto was originally supposed to live by which is hard work beats natural talent. Naruto failed to teach that lesson or live by it because Naruto ended up being a weird Jesus Christ analog that had natural Born gifts and tons of privilege and was part of some self-fulfilling prophecy where he's related to basically gods and he gets trained and helped by gods and he has a living God within him and so on and so forth.

I watched Naruto, Bleach, Black Clover, Solo Leveling, Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen, One Punch Man, Dragon Ball Z, Demon Slayer, Chainsaw Man, Vinland Saga, Tokyo Revengers, Mob Psycho 100, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Hunter x Hunter, Fire Force, Hell’s Paradise, Blue Lock, Berserk, Death Note, Code Geass, Fairy Tail, The Seven Deadly Sins, Sword Art Online, Akame ga Kill!, No Game No Life, Dr. Stone, Baki, Hajime no Ippo, Gantz, Parasyte, Erased, Claymore, Dorohedoro, Noragami, Gurren Lagann, Psycho-Pass, Castlevania, Fate/Zero, Fate: Unlimited Blade Works, Kill la Kill, and Re:Zero and i never been this excited , dammm this anime is hilerious and exciting

  10. Angelica went from a side character with a very shallow existence to now… when i wanna see her fight at 3 months, 6 months and 1 year.

  17. Maybe his starting point and potential qualify as "average", but his current level is obviously anything but.

    I get what they're trying to say (I assume it's all about emphasizing the value of hard work), but it comes off to me like calling Batman "average" just because he's fully human.

    It's like when a character kicks somebody's butt and then says they're having an off day.

  26. This reminds me of another scene from Mob Psycho, " Why do you look so Surprised? Muscles built using psychic powers dont stand a CHANCE against muscles built diligently everyday for years. In those terms this guy is WAY out of your league!" Talent only has you start higher on the ladder but for those who get complacent they will eventually be surpassed by those who work diligently everyday.

  28. This fight and more so the other two are living rent free in my head, especially that moment where the champ used every ounce of his being just to have a taste of the ground where the highest of highs stand.

  29. Angelica's character could have been the typical gag character who just shows up gets humiliated and then vows revenge. It was what I was expecting. I am glad the show subverted that expectation. See Rian that's how you subvert expectations.

  34. as impressive as the anime wanted to convey his strength. It also showed how inconsistent the powerscale in the series is. This fight was just annoying due to the forced drama they had to make

  39. My biggest surprise in this arc was the fact that the brother, the green lizard man, was actually a pretty good person. He was using a few underhanded deeds here, but overall he wasn't going to treat her badly at least by his ending dialogue

  41. It’s honestly quite surprising how Angelica is as a character in this series. At first, it seemed like she’d be the typical “girl challenges MC but falls in love with/becomes the servant of the MC after losing”, especially after the terms she proposed. Then it seemed like she’d just be another one-off character after she ran off at the end of her bout. Then it seemed like she’d be part of a running gag with her showing up at the MC’s destination purely by chance and being the “normal” person. But now we see her with character growth, basically having a mini-arc within this arc devoted to her. It’s a shame it doesn’t seem like she appears much after this, at least for a while, but I love the amount of subversion of expectations she’s brought to the series.

  42. We are permanently stuck with Japan making this kind of dog excretion because this is a product of Japanese society. They need to consume these excrement. It will only end when our way of life finally collapse because rich people has no problem with watching the world burn for their own pocket. the chance is, you will do the same in their position.

  48. Gieth… gieth… gieth my boy. Before you open led your jaw should done some research on your opponent and his squad then you'll have learned that Bronson strongest ever to exist. The vampire best mage. Elf dude crazy high level magics, the goth domme mommy that is ricks lady and then the dude you are fighting. Rick-sama himself. Dude is a monster. Hardly any magic reserves and dude toys with you should stuck around to watch Bronson and his fight
